Shaheen joined the very first Data Analytics batch at HACA Tech School with a background in Computer Science. While he had a technical interest, he describes himself as someone who rarely came forward to speak in front of people. Presentations, public speaking, and teaching were never things he felt comfortable doing.
Like many fresh graduates, he wanted practical experience that could help him build a career in technology. He wasn't looking for just another certificate. He wanted skills that could lead to real opportunities.
That is what brought him to HACA Tech School.
Five Months That Changed More Than His Resume
"I came here expecting to learn. I didn't expect to change this much." Shaheen said.
He spent five months at HACA Tech School, and according to him, the experience went far beyond classroom learning.

Instead of learning concepts in isolation, every project pushed him to apply what he was learning. Each completed project gave him more confidence to take on the next one.
By the end of the course, he wasn't just collecting projects for a portfolio. He was building problem-solving skills through practical experience.

Parkikko
Parkikko is a real-world parking solution that turns unused spaces into earning opportunities for owners while helping users find and reserve parking easily. It includes location-based search, filters for facilities like security and washrooms, real-time availability, reviews, instant booking, and flexible payment options. The app is designed to reduce parking stress for commuters, travelers, and night workers while enabling property owners to earn passive income.
Student Performance Analytics Dashboard
A full-stack academic management system that combines frontend, backend, database, and analytics in one platform. It allows managing student records, attendance, marks, and performance data through a connected SQL backend. A Power BI dashboard built on top provides insights like batch comparisons, KPI tracking, and student performance trends, making it a complete end-to-end data analytics project built using Flask, MySQL, Power BI, and UI design tools.
The Biggest Transformation Happened Outside the Classroom
One of the biggest transformations during Shaheen's journey had nothing to do with dashboards or coding. Before joining HACA, he avoided speaking in front of an audience.
He describes himself as someone who preferred staying behind the scenes rather than presenting ideas.
That gradually changed.
During the course, Shaheen was given the opportunity to take two to three sessions explaining how to build web applications. For someone who once hesitated to face an audience, standing in front of a classroom and teaching others became a major personal milestone.
He also became far more active on LinkedIn. Instead of keeping his work private, he started sharing projects, posting updates, and documenting his learning journey. What began as small project posts eventually became a portfolio that reflected his growing skills and confidence.
Learning Is Easier When You Have the Right Support from HACA
Shaheen believes one of the biggest strengths of HACA is its learning environment. His mentor, Hamna, was always available to clear doubts and provide guidance whenever he got stuck.
He also remembers how classmates and mentors worked together throughout projects, creating a space where asking questions never felt intimidating.
Whenever he faced technical challenges, someone was ready to help him move forward. That collaborative environment made learning faster, more enjoyable, and far less stressful.
From Kerala to Qatar
After completing the program, Shaheen secured a position as a Data Analyst at Happy Toys in Qatar. For both Shaheen and his family, the achievement was deeply meaningful.
He shares that hearing he had received a job opportunity in a GCC country brought immense happiness to everyone at home. Throughout his education and career decisions, his family had always supported him, regardless of the path he chose.
That support became one of the foundations behind his journey.
Still Learning, Still Building
Although he has already begun his career as a Data Analyst, Shaheen sees this as only the beginning.
